Madi had her first day of preschool yesterday and absolutely loved it. She was so excited to go that she kept asking me all morning if it was time. It was her special day so she got to decide what was for breakfast and for lunch. She wanted eggs and toast for breakfast and we had chicken nuggets and french fries for lunch.
She was a little shy when we first got there but after she saw all the toys and the new swing set out back she was off and playing. I was so surprised that I was not crying after I dropped her off. I had braced myself for it all day and I made it. Madi being so brave and excited made it alot easier.
When I picked her up she told me all about her day, her snack and that teachers loves happy faces. She loves teacher CarolAnn and so do I. I am so happy that we were able to move down here so that she can learn from such a great lady.

She looks so big!! I am glad she had such a fun first day. You will love it too once you are used to it. I couldn't wait for Lincoln to start Kindergarten so I can have a few hours to run errands and clean my house. I also love all of the art projects they come home with, so cute!
I can't believe how fast she grew up! She is such a doll. Oh, that tire with the colored bars? I remember us playing on one of those when we were little!
She looks so grown up. Watch out world!!
How adorable! She looks so old in those pictures. I'm glad she likes preschool. It is hard to be too sad when they are so happy and excited.
