Mommy Award
{Tagged by Nicole!}
Here are the rules:
1. Admit ONE thing you feel awful about involving being a mom. Get it off your shoulders. Once you've written it down, you are NO LONGER allowed to feel bad. It's over with, it's in the past. Remember, you're a great mom!
I hate having to be a working mom and having to wake Madi early in the mornings to take her to the baby sitters. I have been blessed that her Grama's get to watch her and not a daycare but it is still really hard. Last night when a tucked Madi into bed she said "Mom I want to stay home with you tomorrow." It broke my heart! I wish that we could stay home together everyday!
2. To remind yourself that you ARE a good mom, list SEVEN things you love about your kids, you love doing with your kids, or that your kids love about you. These are the things to remind yourself of EVERY DAY that you rock!
#1 I love when Madi crawls out of bed in the morning, with her hair sticking up every where and she comes in to see me and says, "Hi Mommy, it's morning time!" With all her stuffed animals and blanket in hand, she crawls into bed with me and is ready to watch cartoons.
#2 I love watching Madi play with her kitchen. She loves to pretend cook. She will ask you what you want and if it is not what she thinks you can have she will tell you no and then give you what she wants you to have.
#3 I love it when Madi asks what the baby is doing then hugs my tummy and says she loves her baby brother. (We'll see how long that lasts once he's here :)
#4 I love it when Madi hugs Matt and I, Sqeezes and says "We a family." It makes me happy that she knows we are her mom and dad and that we are a "Family."
#5 I love listening to Madi say her prayers and listening to her new things that she is thankful for. Lately it is the babies new diaper bag that Aunt Coni made and for her "Valentines Day" (A jewery set that my mom gave her for Valentines Day) I love listening to her cute little voice!
#6 I love Madi's Chubby Cheeks! I kiss them ALL day and Madi never gets tired of it!
#7 I love MADI! I love EVERYTHING about her! I am so greatful and blessed to have her in my life and to have her as MY daughter.
