Happy Birthday Madi

Birthday Girl
Tinkerbell Madi

Madi and her new Scooter and Tinkerbell jammies

Our little girl turns 3 on 28th of June! We had a Tinkerbell Party with her friends last night so she could celebrate and play with them before we move. She had such a good time and got alot of presents (more to move ;) She had a Tinkerbell pinata which she loved and they destroyed before I was able to take a picture of it :( She was so happy that she finally got her scooter like Penny off of "Bolt."
It is hard to believe that my little girl is 3! These last three years have been the Best! I have loved watching her grow and mold into such a sweet and independent little girl. She is such a joy in our lives and definately the apple of her Daddy's eye! We love you Madi! Happy Birthday!

Family Photos

Precious Brekker

Sassy little Madi

Brekker's famous pout ;)

Sweet Angel Madi

We had our family pictures taken on Saturday. It was a beautiful day and luckily we finished before the down poor of rain. Madi did such a good job (Nothing a little bribe of ice cream won't do ;) Brekker was so tired and just wanted to sleep. He is such a happy baby and smiles all the time so I was hoping to get some of his cute smile but he wasn't having it.

Disney Train

Waiting in line for the train

Smiling like the "silly man" in the picture :)

I heard on the news that the Disney Train was going to be at the Union Station in Ogden to promote it's new movie "The Christmas Carol." We have been so busy with adjusting to Brekker and Selling our house and preparing to move so I thought it would be fun to take Madi for a little outing to see the train.

What a disappointment!!!! We waited in line for 2 1/2 hrs in the blasting heat to see this darn train. Once inside it was all about how the film was made. No characters, nothing from the movie just tv screens showing how it was made. I was so mad that when we left I didn't even bother to wait in line to see a clip from the movie on a blow up screen.

Madi did say that it was a great day and she was such a sport waiting in line so long. So I am glad that we got to spend the time together but I would not recommend it to anyone. I even told a lady in the parking lot to get back in her car and not waste her time (which she followed my advise ;)
Hopefully I don't have bitterness in taking Madi to see this movie when it comes out ;) All that matters is that she had a good time right ????

Simple Pleasures

The other night I came home from getting my hair done and Madi was no where to be found. I asked Matt where she was and he said that she was outside. It was 8:30 at night and the rain was coming down good! I looked outside and this is what I saw.

After watching her for a minute I just started laughing. Kids find find joy in the simplest things and I wish that I could look and see things through their eyes. She is such a joy to be around and she melts our hearts.

The things kids say......

The kids and I were driving home last night from Grama Stephs. Madi was in the back seat just talking away when her conversation turned to this.......

Madi- "Mom, when Brekker gets big and I go in to get him and he's not in is bed. I will say, What the Hell?"

Me- (Trying not to laugh) "Madi why would you say that?"

Madi- "Beacuse he is being silly and he got out of his bed!"

Where do they come up with things??? ;)
