The BIG 3 0 !

Making Matt some eggs, bacon and toast
Taking him his breakfast in bed

Matt turned 30 on Friday and we celebrated all weekend, at home and in Emery County. He had to work on Friday so the kids and I made him breakfast in bed and gave him his presents before he went to work. Madi and Brekker gave him some new jeans that he was desperately needing. (notice his princess bag that Madi pick out to put her present in ;)

And I gave him..........

A cruise to the Bahamas!

We leave Nov 8th to Miami and board the ship on the 9th. I am super excited, probably more excited than him :) It will be nice to have a little get away.

Peek-a-boo

I love watching and listening to Madi and Brekker play together. Here is a short video of Madi playing peek-a-boo with Brekk. I love his laugh/scream!

Hooray for Halloween!

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love that Halloween time means the changing of seasons, the beautiful fall colors and the cool crisp air. I love to decorate in witches, ghosts and pumkins and plan out costumes to wear. Every year I make sugar cookies and share them with family and friends. This year Madi was such a great help. Well that is at eating them :) Sorry that there are no pictures of us carving pumkins. Matt deleted them off my camera :(

6 Months

My Chubby Monkey ;)

Eating his first food- yummy squash

Brekker and proud big sister

Sorry,I have been a complete slacker on my postings lately. Brekker is now 6 months old and is growing like a weed. On his 6 mo check up he weighed in at 20 lbs 10 oz and is 28 inches long. The Dr. said that he looks great and is the size of a 1 year old ;)
He is such a happy baby and such a joy to be around. He has his two bottom teeth and is starting to eat solid foods and is now sitting up on his own. He is still not rolling over, just rolls from one side to the other and arches his back as far as he can. He loves to play peek-a-boo and gets so excited when mom, dad or sister walks into the room.

Brekker finally had enough ;)

We went to the state fair with Matt's family and had a great time. Madi enjoyed every minute of it and wanted to go on all the rides. Brekker was a trooper and hung in there for the whole day.

Homecoming Weekend

What big helpers they are ;)

While Matt was deer hunting, I had him drop me and the kids off at my parents so that we could
enjoy the week with them. Friday night Syd performed at the homecoming game and did a great job. Her 17th birthday was the following Tuesday so we had a little surprise birthday dinner for her on Sunday and enjoyed the day. We had a great time and can't wait until we can be down there for good!
