Easter weekend was very busy, but ALOT of fun. The kids and I went to My parents house to visit and enjoy my maternity leave. I always love going to Emery County it is so peaceful down there and it seems that time just goes by alot slower.
Friday before easter Madi and Ryter decorated easter cookies and colored eggs. Madi never seems to get enough sleep at Papa and Grama's house because there is just too much to do. So in the pictures she is not a very happy camper.
Matt got off work at 1:00 am Saturday morning and drove over to share the weekend with us. Saturday morning we were able to bless Brekker at my parents house. It was a very special blessing and all of his grandparents were able to be ther to share the special day.
After the blessing, grama told the kids easter stories and during that time the Easter Bunny "happened" to pay us a visit. Madi and Ryter were so much fun to watch, They got so excited and were trying very hard to find that bunny. The weather was very cold so Brekker did not get to come outside and join in the fun, he stayed inside with his great grama's.
I am so thankful for my family and the support that give us. I am so gald that we all got to share this weekend together.

What the ............!!!!

Madi was up on the top bunk bed at my moms house playing. I asked her to get dressed and she said just a minute. When I looked up on the bed she had a green marker in one hand and a purple marker in the other with a master piece of art on her arms and feet. I was mad at first but then just started laughing. When I asked her what she did that for, she tipped her head to one side put her hands out to her side and said "because that's just what big girls do mom!" How could I get mad at that.

Mommy's Big Helper

Madi is such a good big sister and loves to help me with Brekker. Whenever he cries she has to run and check on him and try to give him his binky. If she comes into a room and does not see Brekker she always asks where he is to make sure he is okay. I am so blessed to have such great kids!

I can't believe that Brekker is already 3 weeks old. These last three weeks have gone by so fast. At his two week check up he had grown 1 in and weighed 8 lbs 6 oz. He is such a good baby and we are loving him to death.

Disney on Ice

So I am a little late posting this because we have had a bit going on :) The day before we had Brekker Madi and I went on a date to Disney on Ice. It was so much fun and I was so glad to share this day with Madi. I loved watching the joy in her eyes when the characters came out, it makes everything worth it. Her favorite was PeterPan and Tinker Bell (as you can see) She is growing up so fast, it makes me so sad but I am enjoying every minute of it.
