Oh How I Love You!

I look back on this past year at how much my kids have grown and how blessed that I am to have them in my life. They bring so much joy to our family and have such sweet personalities and spirits. They grow so quickly and life goes by so fast that I wonder and hope that I have taken the time to charish every moment that I have with them. Oh how I wish that I could bottle up their sweet little laughs and giggles and listen to them forever. That I could just make time stand still and enjoy this time a little longer. As I look at the love that I have for my children, it reminds me of of Heavenly Fathers love that he has for us. There truely is no greater love!

We had Brekker's first birthday party at our house on Saturday. I wanted to throw just a "small" little family party, but when you combine both mine and Matt's family it is not so "small" anymore :) Matt's Parents, My Mom and Sisters, Aunt Teri and Cousin Ryter and Will, and Pa and Grama Ekker all made the trip to celebrate with us. My Dad was home sick in bed so he was not able to make it- we missed you dad! We visited, had a spagetti dinner, opened presents and then enjoyed cake and ice cream -or should I say, we enjoyed watching Brekker devourer it:) Brekker got lots of fun things and cute clothes. Thank you everyone for coming and for all of the birthday wishes!

We got to watch my friends boys for the evening while they went out. The weather is finally getting warmer and we are so excited to finally get to go outside and play. While we were outside playing, a little leprechaun went into the kitchen and colored our milk and potato's green. The kids thought that is was so neat and were looking all over the house for the leprechaun.

Happy 1st Birthday Brekker

I cannot believe that my baby boy is turning ONE today. It seems like yesterday that we welcomed this precious little boy into our family. He is such a fun and happy little guy and brings so much joy to our family. I think back on this past year and hope that I can remember all of our special moments and hope that I took the the time to charish every moment with him. Happy Birthday Breker! We love you!!!

Last night we went bowling with our really good friends for family night. This was only Madi's second time bowling and she did a great job. She beat all the kids (Don't worry Roseanna, I won't mention that she beat you too :) and had a great time. She keeps asking when we can go back :) Thanks for inviting us Batty Family.

This last weekend we went home to watch Syd promadade at her Jr. Prom. She looked so beautiful and tooked second attendent. We had a great weekend spending time with my family.
