13 Months

Brekker is now 13 months old and is so much fun to be around. He weighs 25 lbs and is 31 inches long. He has 8 teeth and babbles all the time. He will say momma and dadda and he yells "Kyla":) Other than his few words, he shows very little interest in learning more. When I try to teach him more words or signs he gets so mad and hits my hands. He has started putting phones up to his ear and saying momma and dadda, which I absolutely love.
He stands alone and walks around furniture and will take a few steps on his own. Today he took 8 steps on his own at Roseanna's, I am so sad that I missed it but glad that Roseanna saw it to share it with me. Madi is getting very excited for him to start walking so that he can try to keep up with her. He is such a snuggler and snuggles with anything he can find whether it is a pillow on the floor, blankets or Madi's doll's. But most of all I LOVE it when he snuggles me! He is quite the mommy's boy and gets very jealous when I hold Madi or hug Matt. Which I think is very cute :) We love you little brother.

Rockstar

Saturday Matt and Madi had gone and gotten some stuff for our garden and Matt baught Madi some new gardening gloves and a rake. That afternoon Madi was being such a stinker so Matt took her new gloves and rake away and their conversation went like this:
Matt: Madi you will not get them until you "grow up" and start minding us.
Madi with an attitude: But Dad, I am as grown up as I can be!
Matt: I meant that you need to start listening and minding me.
Madi, now crying: Now I won't beable to garden, I can't be a gardener when I grow up. I am JUST going to have to be a rockstar! (This is when I left the room because I could not control my laughter)

Matt and his family

I got the kids these really cute outfits for easter and have been wanting to get their pictures taken in them once it got warm. So we decided to get all of the families pictures taken while we were all together. It is so hard to get both kids to cooperate but we had a fun time.

Happy Easter

This year for Easter we went to Green River for a family reunion and to celebrate my grandparents 80th birthdays. We had a very busy weekend but had lots of fun. Matt had to work so I loaded up the kids Thursday night and we headed down. While visiting we made a trip to the geyser.
Madi with all of her cousins. They enjoyed climbing on all of the rocks at the geyser.

This is as much as the geyser went off for us while we were there :(
Madi and Brekker coloring their easter eggsI love this picture. Look and Brekker smiling at Madi- he loves her so much! Our beautiful glittered eggs
Saturday we had a fun filled day visiting with family that we had not seen in awhile. That night we had a very cold but fun birthday party at the park for Grandma and Grandpa. Madi had so much fun playing wth all of her cousins.
Sunday morning we had a big breakfast and after, the kids played a game of "Rotten Egg."
While we were playing games the easter bunny came and left all of the kids baskets outside. This picture is funny because the bush behind Brekker's head makes his hair look very long :)We then all loaded up in cars and went looking for the easter bunny. Madi lloked so hard but we did not see him. While were driving, Aunt Kelsi and Aunt Syd saw him at the park hiding eggs. So we hurried over there but missed him. It was ok because he left alot of eggs to find.

My cute kids
We had a great weekend full of fun and got home late Sunday night. When we got in the house, we saw that the Easter Bunny had visited us there too. There were eggs and candy all over the living room floor, candy filled baskets for the kids and that nice bunny even left me a dozen beautiful white roses. Madi then had to call Daddy at work to tell him what we found :)
