I love you Buddy!
Thank Heaven for Sisters!
I had been having a rough week with Brekker and Madi being sick with the croop and ear infections and stressing over selling our home and our whole living situation. It was my first weekend home alone since having Brekker. When Matt would go back to work his weekends I would load up the kids and go to my moms for a visit. Since that kids had been sick I decided to stay home and was feeling very lonely.
Saturday the kids and I went to Matt's parents to visit and my mother in law and I went for a very hard and tiresome hike ( 6 miles). When we got back from the hike, I was so tired so I packed the kids up and headed home. When we pulled into the the driveway, I opened the garage only to find Kelsi's car parked in there. I was so excited I started to scream. The look on Madi's face was priceless as she yelled "it's Bug!" aka Kelsi :) Kelsi and Syd came running out of the house. It was the best surprise! We had a fun weekend playing in the pool and planting Madi's flowers that she picked out all on her own. It was so nice to have them there and to get to spend time together.
Thank you Kelsi and Syd, you are the BEST! I love you!

Not even 3 and has it Down!
Last night we went at my in-laws to visit and have dinner. While my mother in-law and I were getting ready to go for a hike, Madi pipes up and says that she wants to go. I hesitantly said yes worried if she would make it. She then looks at me and says "I don't want to stay with the boys. Boys are boring, girls are beautiful and fun!"(I've taught her well :) How could I say no. She went with us and did a great job, she is such a trooper! She's not even 3 and has it down about boys. Now only if she can remember this 13 years from now :)

Happy Mothers Day!
The greatest blessing and joy in life is being a Mother. But may I add, it is also the hardest job but the most rewarding :) I had a wonderful Mothers Day this year and am so blessed to have such wonderful kids. While I was getting ready for church, Madi came running in my bathroom with two cards in her hand and said "Happy Birthday Mom!" (cute) She was so proud of her card and told me what it had on it before I even opened it. It was so sweet. We went to church and then had a BBQ and a nice quiet day. When I picked Madi up from Nursery she had a card in her hand, I immediately said "Oh thank you Madi, is that for me?" She replied "No mom, it's for me!" What was I thinking!
She held the card the whole way home and would not let me look at it. When we got home she sat it on the counter, and finally I got to see it! It was a little poem about sticky little fingerprints and it had Madi's cute little pink handprint on it. I hung it on the fridge and said "thank you Madi that is so cute!" She once again reminded me that it was for her and not me! What a kid!
Wonderful Fishing Weather
surprise home for Madi. When Madi woke up she didn't come into the living room to see Brekker and Me, she ran straight into our room, climbed up on the bed and gave Matt
and big hug saying, "good morning daddy!"
Matt and Madi then came out in the livingroom and Madi said "daddy has a surprise for me." Matt made Madi cover her eyes, while he brought in the surprise. It was her very own
barbie fishing pole. She was so excited that we just had to go try it out!
She misses Matt so much while he is gone and gets so excited when I tell her
he is coming home, it is so cute! I can't wait until we can be with him in Vernal!
