Home at Last!!!

On July 21st we officially made E.C. our home again. It is crazy to think that I have been gone eight years but it is so nice to come back and feel like I never left- it truly is my "home."
Three years ago, Matt and I set a five year plan to be back in E.C. to live and to raise our family. I have to admit when we set that goal, my heart was so happy and I wanted it to happen right then and at times I felt that it was never going to happen. It is so great to look back on these last three years and see how everything just fell into place. I truly believe that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us, and that this is definitely part of ours.
When Matt's transfer for work was accepted, we only had 2 months to prepare for this life changing move but everything just seemed to come together so smoothly with our house, our jobs, daycare and the move. It was hard leaving our great friends back in Vernal and we miss them to death. They hold a special place in our hearts and I hope/plan to continue to share many memories together.
I am so thankful for my family and that we get to live so close to them. It is so fun to be able to see them everyday and that my kids get to have them in their life. Right now Madi wants to go over to Grama and Papa's everyday. Maybe someday it will sink in that she has a house down here too. But I hope that she will never stop wanting to see them everyday and that she continues to have so much love in her hearts for them.
I truly feel like we are so blessed in our lives right now. We we are living our dream and I am excited to see what our new life brings us.
